Quick-Release indicators allow you to land fish more easily- the hook-set releases the indicator so it can float freely on your leader. This is the ideal indicator any time you are fishing a leader that is longer than your rod. Simply insert your tippet throught the indicator and black stopper. Push on the tippet to create a loop, and pinch the loop with the stopper firmly into the indicator. When you raise your rod to set the hook, the loop in your tippet causes the black stopper to separate from the indicator, allowing it to move freely on your line. Pure genius!
